Il Centro Ceramica nasce nei primi anni 80 per merito dei fratelli Giuseppe e Giampaolo Carollo. con il rifiorire del carnevale a venezia e con l'apporto di valenti maestri, l'interesse volge immediatamente alla costruzione artigianale delle maschere, prima solo in ceramica, poi utilizzando altri materiali come la cartapesta per maschere indossabili e da arredamento. In viaggio nel mondo fantastico della commedia dell'arte abbiamo costruito il nostro percorso, tra forme e colori che hanno visto crescere la nostra capacita' propositiva perfettamente in sintonia con lo spirito e la cultura veneziana. Intanto, il carnevale a Venezia come da tradizione, si manifestava nella sua cornice assolutamente fantastica, attraverso la fantasia di valenti artigiani, abili fabbricanti di maschere e costumi. Nell'evoluzione di questa saga fantastica anche la nostra produzione ne risentiva positivamente, e tuttora le nostre maschere vengono esportate nel mondo.

The Centro Ceramica was founded in the early 80s by Giuseppe and Giampaolo Carollo brothers. With the Venetian carnival blossoming again and the availability of capable teachers, attention was diverted to the construction of artisan masks. These were initially made of ceramics and later on from other materials like paper-pulp for wearable as well as decorative use. We built our way through the fantastic world of art comedy, midst forms and colors that have seen our ability to propose grow in perfect tune with the Venetian spirit and culture. In the mean time the Venetian carnival , holding on to its tradition, manifested itself in its fanciful frame through the imagination of capable artisans, skilled manufacturers of masks and costumes. In the evolution of this fantastic saga our production availed positively, and even today our masks are exported worldwide.
