Terralha 2016, the 32th edition European Festival of Ceramic Arts St Quentin la Poterie (France)
The European Ceramic Festival organized by the Cultural Office of St Quentin la Poterie, is structured around a Ceramics trail. THE CERAMIC ARTS TRAIL
Around twenty contemporary ceramic artists will be invited to show their work in the heart of village, in private sites transformed for the occasion into temporary exhibition spaces.
The selection criteria will prioritize the quality of the work but also cultural diversity and the variety of techniques.
The originality of the trail is based on the match between the selected European artists and the spaces offered.
The artists will be present on the site of their exhibitions for the duration of the festival in order to meet the public and to explain techniques or artistic approaches.
Selection will be on the basis of application (see attached conditions).
Guest artists will be selected by a professional committee. All ceramic techniques are acceptable and works may include other material in addition to clay.
